This huge library is styled in and old Victorian style. It is three stories tall and takes up an entire block on its own. on the inside it is lined with bookshelves and bookshelves that are about 9 meters long and 7.5 meters high coming off the walls, there is about 4.5 meters in spacing between the bookshelves and every so often there are clearings that are used as reading areas. In order to stop any kind of violence there are micro-bacteria in the air that sense movements and if you move too quickly they will stop your movements entirely. As it is in all of Eether city, it is impossible to die here but you can still be hurt.

"Dobryĭ vecher~" she chimed, "Good evening."
Leaning forward, she touched a blood-soaked patch on his clothing and brought her finger back to her mouth, tasting it curiously. Her ears and tail twitched as she licked her finger, but her focus was on the man before her.
"What happened to you?"

"I hope you don't do that to everyone you meet, someone might have AIDS."
*Sturm spoke sarcastically, but there was a bit of strain in his voice, he was healing- but not quite fast enough.*
"I was attacked, and apparently I'm not as strong as I was before I came here."

"I don't," she said, "just the interesting people. And I'll be okay."
Tilting her head to the side, she let out an irrepressible, curious mew at the sight of a cross hanging from around his neck. The shine from faint light filtering in through the high windows caught her eye; her tail began to twitch with an increasing frequency. She placed her hand over it an attempt to still its action and the subsequent movements that would follow, and spoke to keep her interest elsewhere.
"Where did you first come from?"

"I think I'd prefer to keep that myself at this point, there aren't very many trustworthy people here, and I only just met you myself."
*He tilted his head down and looked at the girl, though the glare from his glasses hid his eyes, from the look on his face it would be obvious that he meant what he said.*

Unphased by the harsh glare, but her focus easily swayed, she shrugged and continued on.
"Da, I see your point. What hurt you?"
He smells like electricity...
As the time passed, it became visibly clear that she struggled against something--some curiosity or urge which would spur her on.

"Oh, a ceiling, a floor, a wall or two."
*At that, a resonating "tink tink tink" sounded in the library as two bullets popped out of Sturm's arm and hit the ground.*
"Oh, and a bullet or five."

For a moment, she paused, looking at the bullets, then his current state of affairs, and finally to her own physical state. Various scenarios played through her mind before she spoke again, looking up at him curiously.
"You got the bullets out without moving. How?"
Another one like me? But he's not. Not really.

"It's this city, from what I can tell. I was told that no death could happen here."
*A third bullet pops out, the wound closing up after it.*
"Unfortunately, I had to learn that from an Avatar of a so called "God" One of which I'm surely to avoid unless I have need of it."

"Oh."
Her interest again switched, a cat hencefoward bored with its toy and now moving on to its shadow. Rubbing her ear in the same way a cat does when grooming, she blinked at him--this, and nothing more until she spoke.
"A god? Which one?"
Geoniesis...Talos....Archaea.

"Geoniesis"
*Sturm squints as the rest of the bullets fall out, he holds his arm for a bit then relaxes.*
"Thank the Lord that is over."
*He rolls up his sleeves to reveal his two Guillotines and starts to inspect them for damages, pulling the saw blades away and examining them for warping.*

"Geo..."
I've heard the name, but...
She spent a moment thinking on the name, closing her eyes, but gave up upon reaching no conclusion. Instead she found her gaze drawn to the blades, both for their obvious treachery, and for the glow they emitted under the lights of the library.
"Pretty~" she commented with a laugh. "What sort of weapons are those?"

"These are the weapons of my Redemption into the eyes of my lord, they go by the name of Guillotine."
*He places the blades back on the gauntlet then twitches his arm. At that, the two saw blades retract into the gauntlet and Sturm quickly covers them back up with his sleeves.*
"I only use them when necessary."

"And when is 'necessary' to you?" she asked quietly, rocking back a little as she observed the man more carefully now. "What denotes the use of violence to a curious being such as yourself?"

"Only when an innocent needs saving..."
*He turns his head up to the girl and gives her a smile and nods his head. But this was short-lived as he looked away and his expression contorts to a look of pseudo anger.*
".... Or some great evil needs slaying."

Her expressions remained blank as she watched the emotions wash over his face. All had ceased to move--her ears, her tail, her fidgeting--and she sat still, simply listening to him.
"A great evil?" was her question, when she finally spoke again. "And what might that be to you?"
What denotes "innocence" as well, I wonder?

"Beings of true evil, such as a devil or demon, or those that would go and harm an innocent, are examples of great evils."
*Sturm stands up and walks over to a window, where he looks at the moon.*

"Then define innocent."
As he got up to walk, she sat still, and stared blankly at the chair where he was. Neither her gaze nor her physical body moved, as if she were entranced and held chained to that spot.

"It's hard to, but I suppose those that do not wish harm against another person who has not done harm, is an innocent. Or someone who stands up for what is wrong, and innocent. Children are pure, and therefor innocent. Exceptions to my views of innocence are women, who I will never harm. Tis' the chivalrous way of thinking I suppose."

"I see," she said softly. "What about someone who hurts...only to live? is there any exception where the ends justify the means?"
Her eyes had closed again, her breathing slow as she mused. By now, her errant thoughts had wandered back to herself, her own doings, her past.

"That depends on the circumstances."
*Sturm turns around, light silhouetting the shape of his body. His arms are folded.*
"Why do you ask young one?"

Lifting her head, an inane smile now replaced the brooding expression of before. She met his gaze calmly, the rest of her still motionless, akin to the way a cat was before it pounced upon prey--eerily still.
"It doesn't matter--you don't hurt girls," she said.
Simple experience has taught me your logic may be flawed, is all, in the world in which I live, she continued in her thoughts.

"You may think that, but others won't be so withdrawn as I am when it comes to this sort of thing."
*He frowns and begins to head out the door.*
"I suppose that all I can do is tell you that it wouldn't be wise to start making enemies before friends."
*For a moment, he stops, turns, and bows his head.*
"Until we meet again."

She waved him on quietly, standing and shaking her head when he was gone.
"Wiser it may be, but harder indeed, for a stray. A homeless, hopeless feline who hunts and kills to survive; not very likely material for a friend."
And yet...I seem to have found but one.
Having thus finished what she had set out to accomplish, and finding no way of furthering her interests at this time, she exited the library, and made her way back to the graveyard she had so readily abandoned.
